Approximately one hour drive from Kolasin you will find Eko Katun Vranjak – a group of small traditional cottages located directly below the peak Troglava from which you will experience a magnificent view. Katun Vranjak is the ideal starting point for many hiking tours to the other major peaks of Bjelasica Mountain.

Itinerary

You will enjoy the natural landscape of this area, the specifics of the flora, various trees, colourful meadows, flowers... We will climb Zekova Glava peak (2117m), from where we will enjoy a view of the beautiful Pešić lake. It is located between the peaks of Zekova Glava and Crna Glava (2139m). Even though it is a very small lake, its beauty surpasses its size. Bjelasica is adorned with the Small and Big Ursulavac Lake and Small and Big Šiško Lake, which we will also visit en route. At the end of the tour we will take a lunch break in the Eko village of Vranjak, and enjoy coffee and the flavors of traditional food, all in a natural village setting. Return to your accommodation in Kolasin by jeep.

Participant guidelines:

Light jackets (in pre and post-season), proper hiking shoes and a camera are recommended. During summer sun protection (sun cream, glasses and hat) and a bottle of water are advisable.
